How does the band system work?

Ride wristbands are issued per height regulations.

Any person can have a red wristband. This includes people over 1m and 1.2m. A red wristband will allow access to all red band rides.
Any person at least 1m (100cm) tall can have a green wristband. This includes people over 1.2m. A green wristband will allow access to the red and green band rides.
Only persons at least 1.2m (120cm) tall can have a blue wristband. A blue wristband will allow access to the red, green and blue band rides.

How much does a band cost?

Red wristbands are £20 when purchased in-park. If they are purchased online in advance, they are £15
Green wristbands are £25 when purchased in-park. If they are purchased online in advance, they are £18.75
Blue wristbands are £32 when purchased in-park. If they are purchased online in advance, they are £22.50

Do adults ride free with children?

Any child who is under 1.2m in height will receive a free accompanying person to go on the rides with them. The accompanying person must be at least 14 years old and mature enough to look after another person.

Please note, a person over 1.2m in height will not receive a free accompanying person, regardless of what colour wristband the have.

How many rides are at Adventure Island?

Adventure Island has 35 rides. 13 of these are red-band rides. 12 of these are green-band rides. 10 of these are blue-band rides.

We also have a multi-storey soft-play area which is included in all wristbands and suitable for those up to 12 years old. This is classed as an extra red band attraction.

Do you have any offers on the wristbands?

If you purchase your wristbands online via our website, you will save at least 25% on the in-park price.

We offer half-price wristbands after 6pm when we are open later than 6pm. These can only be purchased in-park on the day of your visit.

Blue Peter badge holders receive a buy one get one free offer on our ride wristbands. To receive this offer, another wristband must be purchased directly through us either online or on the day of your visit. The valid photocard and badge must then be presented at Customer Services. Please note, this offer is not valid when our wristbands are half price.

We offer a 45% “Mates Rates” discount to Police officers, Firefighters, Paramedics and Army personnel. The receive this offer, a valid photo warrent/ID card must be presented at Customer Services. Please note, this is not a Blue Light discount.

What time does Adventure Island close?

Closing times vary throughout the year, depending on whether it is a “Low Season” or “High Season” day. Exact closing times are set before we open each day and the website is updated accordingly once confirmed.

During Low Season days, the park will open at 11am and close between 4pm and 8pm.
During High Season days, the park will open at 11am and close between 8pm and 10:30pm.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Adventure Island’s food outlets are very accommodating to dietary requirements and offer different options for this. This includes Halal, Gluten-free, Vegetarian and Vegan options.
