How to get here

Reaching us has never been easier!

Whether you’re travelling by car, bus or train – or you’re flying in from more exotic climates just to sample the delights of our world-famous theme park – there are plenty of direct routes to and from Southend seafront, the home of Adventure Island.

By car

From the M25, take either Junction 29 (A127) or Junction 30 (A13) eastwards, towards Southend on Sea. As you approach the town, look for the brown tourist road signs – Adventure Island is clearly marked on these – and follow them to the seafront. If water is sloshing around your feet, you’ve gone too far!

Here’s the address for working out your quickest route.

Parking in Southend on Sea

It’s the part of a day out that most of us dread – but because there are plenty of council-run facilities and street parking bays close to the park itself, finding somewhere to park in Southend is surprisingly easy.

During the day, you will need to pay a fee for a space. For a night time visit, parking is mostly free after 6pm, 7 days a week!

To make sure you get a space close to Adventure Island, we recommend getting to Southend on Sea as early as you can. The bays nearest the park along the seafront will fill up quickly. If you arrive later in the day, you may need to park in or around the town centre. Don’t panic if this is the case – we’re just a short walk away. Car park prices in facilities that are further away from all the action will usually be a little cheaper, too.

You can check Southend’s live parking availability on Southend Borough Council’s website. Click here to see which spaces are left.

If you have any issues regarding parking during your visit, you can call Southend Borough Council’s Parking department on 01702 215003.

Southend Borough Council’s car parks offer the opportunity to pay for your parking electronically via the mobile app MOBON. We highly recommend downloading this app before your visit, as it will enable you to skip any queues at ticket machines.
