We’re counting down the days to one of the biggest and most exciting events of the summer here at Adventure Island – the fifth annual Southend Island Festival, taking place on Saturday 5th July 2025.
From 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM, Adventure Inside will transform into a buzzing creative hub, celebrating the very best of Southend’s local talent. With an incredible line-up of live music, dance performances, and art showcases, this free community festival is one you won’t want to miss.
Now in its fifth year, Southend Island Festival was co-founded by James Miller, Adventure Island’s Operations Director, and Ellis Turffrey, with a simple but powerful mission: to create a platform for local and unsigned performers, and to highlight the importance of being an active and supportive part of the Southend community.

Art & Atmosphere – Creativity on display throughout the event, with something inspiring around every corner.
Please note: Entry to the event is completely free – you’ll only need a wristband or tickets if you’d like to go on the rides during your visit.
