Frequently asked questions

Guests of any age can buy a wristband for a set fee of £30 in-park. Discounted wristbands can be purchased in advance from our website.

Adventure Island wristbands also go half price after 5PM – down to £15 per wristband.

These wristbands will grant you access to any of the rides in Adventure Island and Adventure Inside – as long as you reach each ride’s individual height requirements.

Absolutely! If you’re over 14 years of age (and mature enough to look after another person), you can accompany a child under 120cm in height on any of our rides for free. It’s part of our Go On Together promise.

Guests over 120cm in height will not be permitted to bring on an accompanying person free of charge. (Nice try!)

At the time of writing, Adventure Island has over 40 rides suitable for all ages and thrill levels. We also have a multi-storey soft-play area, which is suitable for children up to 10 years old and can be accessed using our standard wristband , the Adventure Inside Annual Pass or the Playstack wristband.

Our site is packed full of amazing things to see and do, but unlike many other UK theme parks, it’s not huge – you can stroll from one end to the other in just a few minutes. Less walking equals more ride time!

If you purchase your wristbands online via our website, you will save a 1/3 on the in-park price.

We also offer half-price wristbands after 5pm (when we are open later than 5pm). These can only be purchased in-park, on the day of your visit.

We offer a 40% Life Saver rates discount on day wristbands to NHS staff, police officers, firefighters, paramedics and army personnel. With this discount, you can get up to 5 wristbands for £18 each – saving £12 per wristband!

To receive this offer, a valid photo warrant/ID card must be presented at Customer Services. Please note, we do not accept the Blue Light Card for this discount.

We run lots of promotions throughout the year, too. Keep an eye on our website and social media accounts for updates!

Yes! You can purchase an Annual Pass and enjoy unlimited visits to the park until the pass expires. These passes offer fantastic value to families and groups that can’t get enough of Adventure Island.

We also offer in-park gift vouchers for these – simply pop to customer services!

Our closing times vary throughout the year, depending on whether we’re in low season or high season. Exact closing times are set before we open each day and the website is updated accordingly once confirmed.

We make every effort to ensure our guests don’t need to wait for hours to hop aboard the rides they enjoy. Our average queuing time, even during peak hours, is only 20 minutes.

If the weather takes a turn, we may need to close some of our rides and attractions temporarily. However, there are plenty of undercover rides and arcades to keep you entertained until things brighten up again.

From large organised groups and school outings to corporate events, we can cater to everyone’s needs – and you’ll often make huge savings when you all book together. If you want to make a group booking or speak to us about holding your next corporate event at Adventure Island, call our dedicated Bookings team on 01702 443400. Please note, group bookings are only for organisational groups.

Adventure Island is easily accessible by train, bus, coach, car, and even by air! Click here for more information on how to reach us.

We do not have a designated car park for our guests, but there’s plenty of space in the council-led car parks nearby, not to mention lots of bays along the seafront and around the town centre.

At Adventure Island, we believe that everyone should be able to experience the highest level of happiness with us and so we have tried to accommodate to all of our visitors as much as possible.

We offer a half-price wristband for up to two carers for those who require assistance. The individual who requires the assistance will be charged the full rate at the time of purchase..

Please note, carers must be over 16 years to accompany somebody on the rides and one of the following pieces of documentation will be required to obtain a carers band.

  • Letter from DWP regarding DLA or PIP
  • Diagnosis letter from NHS or doctor
  • Disability ID (DID) card

For those with Annual Passes, we also offer carer Annual Passes, which are half the price of the standard Annual Pass. With this you are also able to purchase up to two carers annual passes.
