We act as Data Controllers for purposes of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 and the Company is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses your data.

Personal information we collect about you
We may collect and use the following personal information about you:
- Your name and contact information, including email address and telephone number
- Your contact history, purchase history and saved items
- Information about how you use our website, IT, communication and other systems

- Financial details through online purchases
This personal information is required to provide online bookings to you. If you do not provide personal information we ask for, it may prevent us from completing your booking.

We collect most of this personal information directly from you via online bookings. However, we may also collect information from a third party with your consent from cookies on our website—for more information on our use of cookies, please see our cookies policy.
How and why we use your personal information
Under data protection law, we can only use your personal information if we have a proper reason for doing so, eg:
- to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
- for the performance of our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;

A legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your information, so long as this is not overridden by your own rights and interests.

Marketing our services to:

- third parties who have previously expressed an interest in our services;
Promotional communications
We may use your personal information to send you updates (by email, text message, telephone or post) about our events and services, including exclusive offers, promotions or new products AND/OR services.
We may also send you local news items which could affect the cost of your day out with us.
We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information for promotional purposes (see above ‘How and why we use your personal information’). If you recently, gave us your details, and did not opt out of marketing messages, we will send you marketing information. Please note there will be clear options to “opt out” both when we first collected your details, and in every message you receive.
If you have only subscribed for our newsletter, we will ask for consent separately and clearly.
We will always treat your personal information with the utmost respect and never sell OR share it with other organisations outside of Stockvale Ltd for marketing purposes.

We will not share your information with anybody outside of the Stockvale Group of Companies.

Keeping your personal information secure
Protecting the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data is a responsibility that we take seriously. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep personal data secure against unauthorised or unlawful processing, and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. For example,
- Our employees have received training in data protection and how to handle your personal data.
- Access to your personal data is restricted to the relevant employees that are required to process your data.
- Strict internal policies are in place, including: -Data Protection Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Password Policy.
- Where hard copies are created, these are securely stored.
- According to each department’s process and procedure, your personal data will be periodically reviewed and securely deleted if required.
- Internal systems and networks are regularly tested.
We continually test our systems and are ISO 27001 certified, which means we follow top industry standards for information security.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data breach where we are legally required to do so.
International Transfers of data
During the provision of our services, we may transfer data to countries or international organisations outside of the United Kingdom and the EEA. This may, for example, be to clients or third parties who provide support services to us. Where information is transferred, it may be to a country in respect of which there is an adequacy decision from the UK. We make sure that the personal data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at/processed outside of the UK, under lawful model contracts for the transfer of personal data to third countries (i.e. Standard Contractual Clauses).
